Our "Highlander Edition" hard top is the perfect match to the “Overlanding Community” where the journey is more important than the destination and also those that want to use their Jeeps in the most rigorous or adventurous of ways. Engineered with a Dynamic Load Rating of 600lbs, the “Highlander” tops are constructed for the most demanding of conditions. The tops are constructed utilizing various advanced composite core materials and customized construction techniques creating an "I-Beam" system resulting in extremely high “Load Bearing” capabilities while keeping the overall weight to a minimum. This creates a strength to weight ratio that is unparalleled in the industry. No other hardtop even comes close!!



Up until now, the only option one had to handle very heavy loads was to use a rack system that required either drilling through your hard top and fastening it to the roll-bar or attaching it to the Jeep body itself. Not only do these methods burdensome but they are also expensive and are prone to leaking. The Highlander Top provides a sleek looking, quick and convenient alternative to the above(about a 30 minute installation of the hardtop) and overall, costs much less.

Options That Make It Personal

The highlander jeep top has several interior finish options. The customer can choose from two standard interior finishes. A solid black with grey webbing gives a dark interior effect while grey with black webbing gives a lighter interior. Along with the standard interior finishes there are also several upgraded color finishes available.

There are several options for the side windows of the top. The standard side window is a fixed solid tempered glass. It gives the largest unobstructed view for the passengers. For jeep owners who would like increased ventilation or access options, we sell "slider" windows and the "discovery" windows. The Slider windows slide so you can add outside ventilation in the back of the jeep. Perfect for pet owners! The discover windows open in a gull wing fashion so that the rear compartment can be easily accessed. Perfect for campers or tradesmen who need easy access to their tools.

Highlander Rack Configurations

The “Highlander Top” can be ordered either by itself or with one of the below recommended configurations.
When purchased with a Bulldawg Jeep Hardtop, roof racks are assembled and installed.

“Perry Craft Heavy Duty Cross Bar Rack” This is a traditional cross-bar sytem rack in which the bars can be positioned up to 55” apart. It’s seamless extruded aluminum bars are light weight, strong and feature a durable black powder coat finish. It’s cross-bars are also compatible with any of the Thule brand roof rack accessories.

“Rhino Pioneer Platform Rack” The Heavy Duty Pioneer Platform rack is extremely versatile and designed to be tough. It allows you to load or unload your gear quickly and easily and its patented “Track System” will work with virtually any track related rack components. It is also our “preferred” rack if you will be using your Highlander Top for “Overlanding” or any other commercial type uses. It also features Lockable, Quick Release Mounting Legs to easily remove the platform itself.

“Rhino Track Racks” If you are undecided on which rack you are wanting or already have a track rack system then these are for you. Constructed of extruded aluminum and anti-corrosion coating, these low-profile “Heavy Duty” track racks are 54” long and it’s “T-slot” track design works with virtually any track rack system on the market such as Thule, Yakima and of course Rhino. Easily move legs and crossbars to accommodate different size of loads. They also come with a 5-Year limited warranty. (All Rhino Pioneer Platform Racks will come with the Tracks “Pre-Installed”. Customer is responsible for assembling and installing the Platform itself)
