Deluxe Jeep Half Door Locking Kit

This kit includes the new threaded jeep door inserts, which replace the factory inserts. These specially designed inserts are far superior to the OEM inserts in that the nut is a permanent part of the insert. With the factory installed insert, the nut is held in place by small fingers. If you press too hard on the bolt during installation, the nut is released by the fingers and drops into the bottom of the lower jeep bottom doors.

The advantages of the Deluxe Jeep Door installation kit are:

• The upper jeep half doors are key-locked in place:
  This allows you to leave the vehicle unlocked without fear the upper half doors will be stolen. It works because one of the attachment bolts on each side has a keyed lock. While in the locked position the knob turns without engaging the bolt.
• Quick release upper jeep door hardware:
  All the attachment bolts have a knob head. this allows you to easily install or remove the upper half doors by hand without using tools. The standard installation kit requires a screw driver for installation and removal.
